was so much worse than the first. I had just recently met my boyfriend of almost 8 months now, so I had his support through this all. However, the pain was excruciating, and I sobbed on multiple occasions because of it. I recovered within 2-3 weeks again, but when I went back for my second follow-up, the surgeon said that he would need to perform the surgery a third time, even though he said the second should be the last. I told him that the recovery was much worse, even though he said it wouldn’t be, and that I would not be coming back for a third time.
It has been almost 7 months, and I havent had a breakout in at least two month. They come and go with stress levels and strain, but the gaps between have been increasing. Ive successfully given myself to my love twice just recently, and have had barely any issues.
My advice is to regularly eat probiotic yogurt or take probiotic supplements, exercise if you can, and DEFINITELY actively keep your stress levels low. Also, do not trust everything your doctors promise you and question them as much as needed. Make decisions based on your comfort and intuition. The surgery is very painful, and although it helped relieve me of the initial and worst breakout, my own efforts have helped me feel healthy again.
i hope you see this! And I apology again for taking so long.
I’m sorry that I haven’t answered this sooner. I was never notified for the past 5 messages and didn’t see them until I randomly checked. But I really hope you see this, because it’s very very important!
When I first contracted it, my breakout became increasingly worse after each time I had anal sex, which was almost daily. I was then tested for multiple STDs and found out I was positive for HPV and Gonorrhea. I was relieved not to have HIV, since I experienced the flu immediately after having my blood drawn. The Gonorrhea was treated, and I was referred to a colorectal surgeon to treat the HPV. during the procedure, the surgeon cut and burned the warts. I was prescribed a strong painkiller and sent home with a butt basin that I could fill with water, place on the toilet, and sit in to soak my butt. I did this several times a day, along with several hot baths, especially after each time I defecated, which was incredibly painful. I would scream and moan, because the pain was so intense, but it would subside within 10 minutes with hot water and Epsom salt. the pain killers and pillows to add pressure helped. This lasted about 2-3 weeks and was one of the most terrible and helpful experiences of my life. Because of this, I wasn’t able to whore myself and put my body in danger of contracting more STDs.
When I went back to see the surgeon, I had healed, but not entirely. He was very quick to tell me that I needed to have the surgery once more to remove the remaining warts. He said the second recovery would not be nearly as bad, and that it should be the last time.
Recovering the second time
